Ben DiGiacomo is a storyteller at heart, originally from Paris but now a proud New Yorker. His passion for documentary filmmaking is fueled by a desire to explore complex identities and immigrant experiences. His film "Bad Like Brooklyn Dancehall" has received recognition for its powerful narrative, and as an award-winning filmmaker, Ben excels in crafting compelling stories through directing, meticulous editing, and stunning cinematography.

"Bad Like Brooklyn Dancehall" HAD ITS WORLD premiere at Tribeca FESTIVAL. This film captures Brooklyn's lively dancehall scene AND THE PATH OF THE JAMAICAN IMMIGRANTS THAT MADE IT POSSIBLE. It was honored with The Gotham Documentary Award, the Hyphen Grant for its deep cultural insight and THE BETTER ANGELS SOCIETY LAVINE FELLOWSHIP.
